Frank Hu，Ph.D.
Chairman
Dr. Frank Hu is the co-founder and Chairman of Xell Energy. He brings extensive experience in technology development, engineering management, and business leadership. Prior to co-founding Xell Energy, Dr. Hu held technical and management roles at Agilent Technologies, Avago/Broadcom, and Bridgelux.

Dr. Hu holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Lanzhou University, an M.S. in Chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama.
Shelly Deng，Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Shelly Deng is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Xell Energy. She has deep experience in advanced technology, product development, and organizational leadership. Prior to co-founding Xell Energy, Dr. Deng held technical and management roles at HP, Agilent Technologies, Finisar, now Coherent, and Bridgelux.

​Dr. Deng holds a B.S. in Physics from Peking University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Ryan Chen
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Ryan Chen is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Xell Energy. He brings more than 25 years of diversified industry experience across semiconductors, electronics, telecommunications, engineering, quality, and operations. Prior to joining Xell Energy, Mr. Chen held technical and management positions at Samsung Semiconductor, UTStarcom, WorldPlay, CFG Online, and Honeywell.

Mr. Chen holds a B.S. in Astronomy and a B.A. in Business Management from Nanjing University.
